Valerie Beatrice Washington, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at MVHS, St. Luke’s campus, New Hartford.
Valerie was born in Williston, FL., on October 4, 1938, the daughter of the former Willy and Beatrice Washington. She was raised and educated there in Florida. Valerie was employed by Remington Arms as a Machinist, retiring after nearly 30 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed Cooking, Catering and Cosmetology.
Valerie is survived by a daughter Yvette Donohue and her grandson Joshua, of Utica, her granddaughter Cierra, her brother Thomas Washington of Williston Florida, a nephew Stephen Jones and a niece Sophia Barnett of Florida. She was predeceased by two brothers Frank Law, James Washington and two sisters Roszenna and Lisa.
In keeping with Valerie’s wishes there will be no formal services or calling hours.
