Mr. Phillip Williams, 61, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at SUNY Upstate, Syracuse surrounded by his loving family. Phillip was born in the Bronx, NY., on June 19, 1960, the son of Jerry Williams and the late Daisy Carvain and received his education in the Bronx and Utica schools. Phil proudly served his country in the US Army from 1979 until he was honorable discharged in 1981. His was united in marriage to the former Florence Jackson in 1986 in Utica. He was sports enthusiast, especially football, his favorite team was the New York Giants. Phillip is survived by his wife of 35 years Florence, three sons Phillip Williams, Utica, Craig Williams and his wife Debra, Auburn, Robert Jackson, Utica, his father Jerry Williams, a brother Winston Williams, two sisters Audrey and Marsha Williams, his many grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 11:00 to 12:00p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Services, Inc. 1517 Whitesboro Street, Utica, followed by a prayer service and time to share memories. Interment will take place in Crown Hill Memorial Park following prayers.
