Mrs. Lida Suarez, 70, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, with her loving sons by her side. Lida was born March 12, 1951 the daughter of the late Diego and Margarita (Bernard) Suarez, Sr. in Cayey, Puerto Rico. At a young age Lida and her family moved to Brooklyn where she was educated. Lida was a loving and caring woman with deep family values. When it comes to her sons, grand children and great grandchildren there isn’t anything she wouldn’t do. She also enjoyed her puzzles to the point they were all over her house. Lida is survived by her three sons Angel Ramos and his wife Jennifer, Eddie Ramos and his wife Millie both of Utica, Nelson Ramos and his wife Juanita, Rome, her loving companion Hector Roman, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters and three brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister and seven brothers. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 12:00 pm (noon), at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, with deacon Richard Prusko officiating. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects prior to the service from 10am-12pm and attend the service that follows. Interment will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery, Oneida Street, Utica.
