Ronde Sue Brown, 71, of Marcy, NY, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Friday, December 24, 2021. Ronde was born in Utica, on October 12, 1950, the daughter of the late, Harold (Skip) and Marilyn (Wallace) Brown. She was a graduate of Mt. Markham Central Schools and later in life, continued her education, graduating from Herkimer County Community College, with a degree in Paralegal Studies. While at Herkimer College, she was a proud member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. At one time, Ronde was married to Dennis Deliberto and they have remained friends. Ms. Brown was employed at the Peacemaker Program, as a Family Court Mediation Coordinator, where she worked at both the Utica and Rome Family Court, retiring after 18 years of dedicated service. Ronde loved gardening, but most of all, loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and grand puppy, Kiki. She also cherished and loved her canine companion, “Zander”, who never left her side. Ms. Brown is survived by her beloved children: daughters, Denise Deliberto of Marcy and Karen (Chad) Bogan of Marcy; son, Steven Deliberto of Marcy; her cherished grandchildren, Aurora Walker of Whitesboro, Nicholas Walker of New Vineyard, ME and Serena Bogan of Marcy and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Walker and Dawson Walker. She also leaves her siblings, Harold “Rock” Brown, Michael (Cynthia) Brown, Eric (Brian) Brown, Kathi (Ken) Brown and Joel (Nancy) Brown, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Brown. Visitation for family and friends is Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a prayer and time to share memories of Ronde at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation.
