With deepest sorrow, we announce that Gior R. Boyd (GiGi) age 6 departed from this world unexpectedly on December 27th with her older sister Gabrielle by her side. Born May 6th, 2015 in New Hartford NY. Gior was beautiful inside and out with a smile that would brighten up an entire room. She was full of life with such a creative imagination. She loved playing make believe with her dolls and often got her cousins to join in on the fun. When you think of Gior celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is precious and short and should be lived to the fullest with a beautiful smile as she did everyday of her short time on this earth. Gior departed this world together with older sister Gabrielle Boyd. She was predeceased by sister Berlin Boyd. She is survived by her parents Duchane Boyd and Lisa Howard; Sister Ganeva Carter; Grandparents; Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 4th, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Peter Spencer’s UAME Church, 841 Bleecker St Utica, NY 13501. Her interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica.
