Judie Conley, 83, of Schuyler, New York, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Judie was born on June 14, 1938, in Ilion, New York, to William and Corinne Best. She graduated from Ilion High School and Cazenovia College. On August 9, 1958, she married James Conley and was blessed to share 63 wonderful years together. Judie was employed with several medical offices in the Utica area. She was known for her generosity and compassion. Judie volunteered for many organizations supporting women, children, and animals throughout her life. She was an avid traveler who adored her cats, enjoyed reading, and loved tending to her plants and flowers. Above all, she cherished time spent with her grandchildren. Judie is survived by her husband James, her children, James Conley Jr. (Mary), Todd Conley, and Paige Rossman (Kent). Also surviving her are six grandchildren, Zack and Lizzie Conley, Fede and Esme Conley, Alex and Livy Rossman. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Corinne Best, and her older brother, Bill. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to St. Luke’s Hospital staff for their extraordinary care. In keeping with Judie’s wishes, there will be no calling hours.
