Debra A. Foley, 63, of NY Mills, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at her home. Debra was born in Utica, on August 11, 1958, the daughter of John Henry and Sara (Campbell) Foley. She was raised and educated in Utica and received her education in Utica schools. For 29 years, Debra was employed as an LPN with Slocum Dickson Medical Group in New Hartford where she worked for Dr. Porus Dhabhar and a special co-worker, Cathleen Lester. She was highly admired by both her co-workers and patients for her kindness and compassion, as well her work ethic. Debra was a handy woman who was not afraid to begin, and see any task, small or large, to completion. Her home improvement projects and landscaping were admired by all. Debra will be fondly remembered as a loving, caring, kind and funny woman, who loved her family above all else and would do anything for them. She was the best mom, grandma, sister and friend any one could ask for. Debra is survived by her loving children, Sean Clifford (Marion), Jessica (Murray) Lewis (Harry Bullard), Erica Murray (Josh Yozzo) and Stephen Murray (Vanessa Worn); two brothers, Neil Foley and John Foley; cherished grandchildren, Gianna (Christopher), Kyler, Cora, Sean, Liam, Celestina, Jacob and Gabriella; life-long friends, Joanne Laucello Luscomb and Sue Welch Kunze, as well as her canine companion, Bambi. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Sara, brother, Keith Foley, and brother-in-law, John Talmadge. Visitation for family and friends are Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica.
