Obituary of Lawrence J. Scheiderich

Lawrence (Larry) Scheiderich, passed away peacefully on February 12th at the Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Larry was born November 26, 1933 in Utica the last of a family of seven children who were raised in the family home on Matthews Avenue. He was a Korean War era veteran of the US Army, a long-time employee of Kelsey Hayes and a parishioner of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica.
His wife, Carole, of 46 years, died in April of 2021. He is survived by 27 nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks to the 4th floor staff at the Pines whose care and kindness were displayed throughout his residence there.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Larry’s funeral Mass of Christian burial on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Carole in St. Joseph Cemetery in Yorkville.
