Beverly A. Jacobs, age 63, passed away at MVHS, St. Luke’s Campus on Sunday, February 13, 2022 with her loving family by her side. Born on February 14, 1958 at Fort Eustis Army Installation, Newport News, VA. Beverly is the daughter of Margaret (Smith) Hart. Beverly attended MVCC and graduated with a degree in nursing. Beverly was employed as a registered nurse at several nursing homes through the valley. She spent most of her nursing years at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Utica and Valley Health Services, Herkimer. Beverly loved to spend her free time gardening or reading and enjoyed time with her feline companions she has had over the years. She also took up crocheting and donated hundreds of scarves to various local charities. Beverly is survived by her mother Margaret Hart, three sisters Debbie Morris (Ron), New Hartford, Madonna Yashinski (Lou) Phoenix, AZ., Terry Walters (John) Marcy, nieces Jennifer, Melissa, Nicole, Rachel, nephew Hunter, several great nieces and nephews and a best friend Sherrie Brice. The family would like to thank her care givers that were like family Tatyana, Joey, Dora, Irina and Yulia. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at Heintz Funeral Services, Inc., 408 Herkimer Road, North Utica, NY., 13502. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 noon with Deacon Richard Prusko officiating.
