Mrs. Diane M. Robinson, 70, of N. Utica, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford, with her loving family by her side. Diane was born in Utica, on January 8, 1952. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. On January 17, 1971, Diane was united in marriage with Richard C. Robinson at Holy Trinity Church in Utica. For many years, Diane was employed with various banks in the Utica area, and later, as a phlebotomist. Diane enjoyed knitting and watching movies with her beloved husband Richard. Also, spending time watching birds and ducks in their natural habitat. Her greatest joy was spending time with her cherished grandchildren who were the light of her life. She was of the Protestant faith. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her loving husband, Richard; one son, Dan Robinson, US Air Force, ret and his wife Kelly of Bellevue, NE; three cherished grandchildren, Matthew Robinson, Christian Stoddard and Sophie Robinson; sister-in-law, Joan Tommasetti; Joe Tommasetti and his wife Suzy Lisa Hall and her husband Barry, Jamie Robinson and his wife Erin, Andrea Robinson and Brian Robinson as well as several great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Doreen Robinson. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to join Diane’s family, to celebrate her life, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Aqua Vino Restaurant, 16 Harbor Lock Rd., Utica. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Diabetes Association in Diane’s memory. As Diane’s final act of love, she selflessly donated her remains to Science Care, with the hope of making others’ lives better.
