Obituary of Tamara David

   Mrs. Tamara (Tammy) David, 64, of Utica, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford, with her loving family by her side.

     Tamara was born in Utica, on December 10, 1957, the daughter of Earl and Elizabeth Lubey.  She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy.  On August 31, 1974, Tammy was united in marriage with Gary A. David, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Utica.  For many years, Tammy was employed as an activities coordinator with the Presbyterian Home in New Hartford, retiring in 2019.  She enjoyed camping, playing poker, traveling, and especially loved her canine companions, Brandi and Ginger.

     Tammy is survived by her loving husband, Gary; two sons, Andrew David and Scott David, both of Utica; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Maureen Lubey of Yorkville and Tammy Ann and Howard Pickard of TN, as well as several cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, many dear friends and extended family members. She was predeceased by her son, Gregory Scott David on January 31, 2022.
