Obituary of Theresa Marie Cornette

     Miss Theresa “Tess” Marie Cornette, 26, of Chittenango, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.

     Theresa was born in Syracuse, NY, on June 28, 1995, the daughter of Bradley and Mary (Gagnon) Cornette, and received her education at Tradewinds Educational Center.  Tess enjoyed doing volunteer work at various organizations in the area and loved to clean.  She also loved animals, flowers and going to the beach.

     Tess is survived by her loving parents, Bradley and Mary of Bridgewater, NY; three brothers, Brian Cornette of Bridgewater, David Cornette of Chittenango and William Cornette and John Valasek of Utica; one sister, Theressa Bienvenue of NY Mills; beloved uncles and aunts, James and Dale Gagnon, Susette and Jack Majtan, Ann Welch and her fiancée Jeff Gill,, Bernadine and Jimy Andrello and Jeff and Marg Gagnon; very special cousins, Jessica Welch, Victoria Foster, Michael Welch, Megan Kingsley; cousins, Wayne Bradley and Scott Bradley as well as many additional cousins.

     Visitation for family and friends is Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at St. George Orthodox Church, 350 Higby Rd., New Hartford, NY, followed by a funeral Mass at 12:00 Noon.  Tess will be laid to rest at St. George Cemetery in Whitesboro, later in the spring.  The family would greatly appreciate floral offerings or a donation the St. George Orthodox Church, in Tess’ memory.
