Obituary of Diane M. Adams

      Diane M. Adams, 68, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Boonville, NY.

     Diane was born in Lynn, MA, on May 24, 1953, the daughter of Donald and Carmella (Rubbico) Wood and earned her Associates degree from Mohawk Valley Community College.  For many years, Diane was employed as a keyboard specialist with the NY State Department of Education in Utica.  She was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in N. Utica where she also proudly served as a Eucharistic minister. 

     Ms. Adams is survived by her three beloved children, Doniell Cummings and her husband, Matt of CA, Damien Adams and his wife, Kaleigh of FL and DesaRae Adams of Utica; nine cherished grandchildren, Antonio, Bellah, Kaylah, Anjeloh, Elyssa, Cally, Apolloh, Emerson and Erin; one sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Ernst Walge of Rome and her niece, Jodi. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Carmella; her adored granddaughter, Jacyndah and sister, Michele LaFluer. 

     In keeping with Diane’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
