Obituary of Krystol A. Mitchell

     Krystol A. Mitchell, 70, of Utica, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford.

     Krystol was born in Utica, on January 2, 1952 and received her education in Utica schools.  For many years, Krystol was employed with Abelove Laundry in Utica.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, music and truly loved animals, especially her beloved cats. 

     Miss Mitchell is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Anthony Zdeb; son, Bernard Garrow; one sister Margaret (Mitchell) Wells and one brother, Henry Mitchell. 

     Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a prayer at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation.

     Krystol’s family extends their heartfelt gratitude to a special friend, Kevin Schrader, for the wonderful help you provided in caring for her.  Also, a special thank you the staff on the second floor at Utica Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for your kindness and patience.
