Mr. Richard F. Lindsey, 84, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, May 29, 2022, after a brief illness.

Richard was born December 13, 1937, he was raised and educated in Utica. In 1975 he was united in marriage to late Debbie Bowman whom predeceased him. For many years Richard was employed by the Observer-Dispatch as a paper courier.

Mr. Lindsey is survived by his two daughters Kimberly Lindsey, Kristine Sewell (Ron), both of Utica, son Richard Lindsey, Virginia Beach, a son-in-law James Lang, grandchildren Princess and Shantelle Lindsey, Tyron, Richard, Darius, Camron Sewell, Khynail, Landon, Raymen, Kimberly Lang, Desiree and Antonio Lindsey, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In keeping with the wishes of Mr. Lindsey, there will be no visitation or services at this time. The family will gather privately at their convenience.
