Mrs. Mavis Saporito, 95, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
Mavis was born in Manchester, England, on July 26, 1927, the daughter of Robert and Anne (Moulton) Surtees and received her education there. In England, on February 8, 1945, Mavis was united in marriage with Guy L. Saporito and the couple shared a loving union of 45 years, until Guy’s death in 1990.
Mrs. Saporito is survived by her son, Carl Saporito of Clinton and cherished grandson, Guy Saporito of Utica. She was predeceased by her sister, Ivy Smith in 1977.
In keeping with Mavis’ wishes there is no visitation or services. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Utica.
