Obituary of Kathleen A. Pellegrino

      Kathleen A. Pellegrino, 66, of Utica, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Utica.

    Kathy (nee Townsend) was born in Utica, NY on April 9, 1956 the daughter of the late Robert and Frances Townsend (nee Kaminiski).  She was educated and was a graduate of Oriskany Central High School.  Kathy was employed as a home health care aid for several agencies until her health forced her out of work.  She enjoyed crocheting blankets for the sick, watching her soaps and riding motorcycles in her spare time.

     Kathy (nee Townsend) is survived by her daughter Mandy Pellegrino and her fiancé Darin Pernat of Camden, NY; two sons Christopher Townsend of NC and Andrew Riopel of Camden, NY; a sister Josephine Townsend and her husband Mark Hudson of Vancouver, WA; a brother Dr. Michael Townsend and his wife Dr. Amanda Bird of Columbus, OH; one grandchild, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

     In keeping with Kathy’s wishes there are no visitation and services will be at convenience of her family.

     Arrangements for Mrs. Kathleen A. Pellegrino have been entrusted to Heintz Funeral Services, Inc., 408 Herkimer Road, Utica, NY. 13501.
