Obituary of David R. Taylor, Sr.

     Mr. David R. Taylor, Sr., 78, of Utica, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at his home.

     David was born in Utica, on September 10, 1944, and received his education in local schools.  For many years, David was employed with Allied Van Lines and as well as a carpenter in the Utica area.  He enjoyed western movies and was a talented carpenter and electrician.  David was of the Pentecostal faith.

     Mr. Taylor is survived by his daughter, Davina Newman; son David Taylor, Jr., and his wife Gina; one sister, JoAnne DelMonico; sister-in-law, Bonnie Taylor; nieces and nephews, Nadine (Ron) Barroncini, Todd (Michelle) Zielinski, Michelle Zielinski, Nicole (Gary) Zayas, Elisha (Mark) Doolen, and Lonnie Linebeck; his close friend and “Ride or Die partner”, Ray Harris, as well as numerous additional nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Kimmie Taylor; four brothers, Bill Taylor, James Taylor, Henry Golden, and Frank Taylor and one sister Rosemary Linebeck

     Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, October 12, 2022, from 5:00-6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation. He will be laid to rest in Boonviile Cemetery.
