Obituary of Laurie Ann Stoetzner
Laurie Ann Stoetzner, 53, of Clinton, formerly of New Hartford, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Laurie was born in New Hartford, on May 15, 1969, the daughter of Clifford and Ann (Carlson) Dunham. She was raised and educated in New Hartford, was a graduate of New Hartford High School, Mohawk Valley Community College, and attended Winthrop University in South Carolina. Laurie was employed with Byrne Dairy in Kirkland, where she was known for having many customers who said they came in just for her smile and friendly hello. Outside of work, Laurie had a passion for collecting cookbooks, antiques, Knick knacks and an array of Michigan Wolverine merchandise. Laurie had a way to make anyone feel special, whether it was an initial greet or knew for years. She made an impression that left her not easily forgotten.
Laurie is survived by her three loving children, Amanda Stoetzner of Clinton, Matthew Stoetzner of Clinton, and Timothy Goff (partner Shaye Seeman) of Richmond, VA; two cherished grandchildren, Ava, and Ian; her brother, Scott Dunham (Skye Allen) of Chicago, IL; a special half-brother, Thomas Dunham of Utica; an uncle and
aunt, Carl and Carolyn Carlson of Massena, NY; several cousins; and a long-time partner, Kevin Swift. She was predeceased by her parents, Clifford, and Ann.
Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home. 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica. She will be laid to rest with her mother in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Kirkland following a brief service at the funeral home on Saturday, November 5th at 10:00 a.m.
