Obituary of Anita L. (Bartelotte) Bolmer

  Mrs. Anita L. (Bartelotte) Bolmer, 84, of Yorkville, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at the Presbyterian Home with her loving family by her side.

     Anita was born in Utica, on May 26, 1938, the daughter of David and Mary (Villneave) Bartelotte. She was raised and educated in Old Forge and was a graduate of Town of Webb High School.  On June 24, 1995, Anita was united in marriage with Matthew P. Bolmer.  For many years, Anita was employed in the computer science department at Mohawk Valley Community College, retiring in 1996.  She enjoyed sewing, knitting and was a member of the Utica Amateur Radio Club under the call number, wb2jnv.  She was also a devoted parishioner of the Church of The Sacred Heart and St. Mary, Our Lady of Czestochowa in NY Mills.

     Mrs. Bolmer is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Anita and Richard Rahn of Deerfield and Lisa Bolmer of Yorkville; two cherished grandsons, Steven Rahn and his wife Jill of Jamesville, NY and Brandon Bolmer and his wife Amanda of West Edmeston, NY and an adored great grandson, Parker.  She was predeceased by her husband Matthew and sister, Teresa Bolmer.

     Mrs. Bolmer’s funeral will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of The Sacred Heart and St. Mary, Our Lady of Czestochowa in NY Mills. A spring interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery in Old Forge, NY.  Visitation for family and friends is Friday, November 25^th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N.
