Just learned of Mrs. Willis’s passing and extending my condolences to Reed and family. She was a lovely woman and the best next door neighbor, always so cheerful and welcoming. We always brought our stale bread over so she could share it with birds and squirrels. As kids, I remember when Reed threw a rock at me causing a bloody scalp. Boy, did she let him have it! She was a memorable part of my childhood. I had my mother for 96 years and you had yours for 100. We were both blessed.
