I just learned of Paul's passing in the St. Bonaventure alumni magazine. I grew up in Little Falls and played basketball there and then went to St. Bonaventure and played there. I also taught at Bonaventure and helped with the basketball team and worked with Paul and got to know him well. I was a classroom math teacher for 59 years and have been retired for the past two years. I still coach basketball and tennis in Maine.
My brother and his family lived in New Hartford and his three children are New Hartford alumni. It's hard to get to events at either the Mohawk Valley or St. Bonaventure. I wish I had kept in touch with Paul and regret his loss.

I just found out that Paul passed away and want to share my deepest sympathies to his family.
He was my neighbor for many years and I would see him around his home putting here and there.
I know when Gail passed in 2005 he was lost without her.
They are now together again❤️

Paul was the epitome of the "Gentle Giant". I was an OD Sports reporter for the ",Champlin Tire Wreckers", semi-pro Basketball team. Paul excelled and was an excelled addition, along with many other local former H.S./College standouts. They defeated most, many, former NBA and Pro players, promoting our Community as a force to be reckoned with.
Paul was an outstanding advocate for people in his role with the NYS Employment Office.. He was also married to a relative of the Graham family, our late cousin, Gail Ward. May they Rest In Peace. Steve & Beth Graham

My condolences. Paul and I went to high school together. We got together after I was discharged from the Navy. I was with him when he met Gail. Gail introduced me me to my future wife Marielena Vedete. We both were in Paul and Gail wedding party. My wife passed in 2013. I am sure her and Gail are together in heaven and now have Paul.
