Obituary of Richard M. Conde

    Mr. Richard M. Conde, 62, of N. Utica, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, with his loving family by his side.

     Richard was born in Utica, on January 27, 1961, the son of Richard S. and Jane (Hall) Conde.  He was raised and educated in Utica, was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and SUNY IT. On January 21, 2019, Richard was united in marriage with Nova T.  For many years, Richard was employed as a network engineer, with numerous companies throughout the world. He was currently employed with Wolfspeed/Cree Mohawk Valley Fab in Marcy NY, a job he truly loved.   Richard was an avid hockey player as well as a huge fan of the Boston Bruins.  He was also an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan.  Richard was a world traveler who made many dear lifelong friends along the way.  He will be remembered as a gentleman whose joy for life was contagious. He was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Church in N. Utica.

     Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Nova, son, Janting and cherished grandson, John David; his mother, Jane Conde of N. Utica and sister, Gillian Conde and Jean Dombroski of Rochester, as well as many many dear friends to numerous to mention.  He was predeceased by his father, Richard.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Richard’s memorial Mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church, 440 Keyes Rd. in N. Utica.  The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the memorial Mass.
