Obituary of Patricia A. Bellair

     Mrs. Patricia A. Bellair, 76, a resident of The Pines at Utica Center for Nursing, formerly of N. Utica, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the nursing home with her loving family by her side.

     Patricia was born in Utica, on June 2, 1946, the daughter of Henry and Zita (Sulinski) Trompczynski.  She was raised in Utica, was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and Utica School of Commerce. On December 17, 1966, Patricia was united in marriage with Michael R. Bellair at Holy Trinity Church in Utica, a loving and devoted union of 32 years, until Michael’s passing in 1999.  In Patricia’s younger years, she was a gifted baton twirler and volunteered her talents many times to help those learning this activity. She enjoyed crafts, macrame, candy making and loved to shop. Patricia was always generous with her time and could often be found volunteering at church events and her children's school.  She was of the Catholic faith and devoted her life to her family, whom she cherished and loved above all else.

     Mrs. Bellair is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Anthony Coriale of Deerfield; two sons and daughters-in-law Paul and Pamela Bellair of NC and Brian and Elizabeth Bellair of Whitesboro; six cherished grandchildren, Jenna Bellair, Hope Bellair, Michael Coriale, Jarod Bellair, Jackson Bellair and Ava Bellair; one brother, Paul Trompczynski; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Judy and John Lapenta and two nieces, Kristen (Lapenta) Piscopo and Amy Trompczynski.

     Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation.  Those wishing to make a donation in Patricia’s memory, please consider the Alzheimer’s Association.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. 

     The family would like to thank the staff at the Pines Nursing Home for the loving care they provided Patricia in the latter stages of her life.
