Obituary of Carl M Goralczyck

Mr. Carl M. Goralczyk, 82, of Utica, NY, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica, NY.

     Carl was born in Utica, on April 21, 1941, the son of the late Benedict and Sadie (Szczyt) Goralczyk.  He received his education in Whitesboro and was in the graduating class of 1959.  Carl proudly served in the US Navy from 1961 to his honorable discharge in 1965.  On October 27, 1964, he was united in marriage to Nancy Duncan.  A blessed union of 48 years until her passing on June 24, 2012.  Mr. Goralczyk was employed for several years at Chicago Pneumatic as a machinist until its closing, then he worked for Ferris Industries in Munnsville, NY until his retirement.  Carl was an avid golfer and when he couldn’t golf and would settle for bowling.

     Mr. Goralczyk is survived by children Gail Losee and her husband Doug, Bonifay, FL, Dave Goralczyk and his wife Kathy, Westernville, NY, grandchildren David, Nathan, Tyler Losee, step grandchildren Jason, Bob Szewczyk and a special niece Cheri Spink and her husband Christopher.

     Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, August 25, 2023, from 2PM-4PM at the Heintz Funeral Services, Inc. 408 Herkimer Road, Utica, NY.
