    Elaine C. Walsh, 85, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica.

     Elaine was born in Utica, on September 15, 1937, the daughter of Fred and Ruth (Lee) Walsh, and received her education in Utica schools. At one time, Elaine was employed with HSBC Bank and for over 40 years with Marine Midland Bank, retiring as Trust Account Manager. She enjoyed playing bingo and shopping on QVC. Elaine was a former parishioner of St. James Church in Carthage, NY and often attended Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Utica.

     Miss Walsh is survived by two cousins, Shawn Balio and her husband John and Beth Welch as well as many cherished friends at the Brooke Apartments, where she had resided for the last 8 years. She was predeceased by her sister and best friend, Elizabeth Walsh and favorite cousin, Leigh Heyscue.

     Visitation for family and friends is Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. following visitation. She will be laid to rest with her sister in St. James Cemetery in Carthage, NY.
