Obituary of Jennifer Koeppe Baylitz
Jennifer Nicole Baylitz, 45, of Utica passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica.
Jennifer was born in Utica, on August 2, 1978, the daughter of Theodore Koeppe, Sr. and the late Colleen Lasher. Jennifer was raised and educated in Utica all her life. She was enthusiastic about writing and drawing.
Jennifer is survived by her sister, Desiree Martin and her children Deaysia, Aaliyah, Nevaeh and Nyaira; sister, Tammy Landucci and her children Hailyey, Isaiah, Jessica and Rose; brother, Steven Koeppe, Sr. and his wife Melissa and their children Akeylah, Trevor, Caleb, Chante, Bentley and Steve, Jr.; brother, Patrick Filkins and his wife Trenell and their children, Jaedyne, Jamiel, Marquelle and Yacub, Tedd Bennett and his children Valerie, Mariah, Tedd Jr., and Joseph; great nieces, Jiyara and Jiyani; special cousin, Lisa Shaver; special aunt, Peggy Manley; family friends, Jane Dominique, Sandy Linen and Sandra Wright; special high school friend, Mitosha “Moneick” Phillips and a host of other uncles, aunts, family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Colleen Lasher, brother Patrick Filkins, aunt Denise Kent, uncles Allen and Richard Lasher and cousin Cindy Maxim.
Jennifer’s services will be held later at the convenience of the family. She will be laid to rest with her mother Colleen in Forest Hill Cemetery.
