Dear Irene,
Words cannot express the sadness & shock I feel as I am just seeing George’s obituary 10 days later! I have too many memories to share here but please know, he was so loved by my family. A gentleman, gentle, caring man. I will always remember his kindness in my Dad’s last days. May God grant you peace in your heart knowing that George will always be with you. Dear Irene,
Debi and I are so very sorry for you, your family and all Georges friends who loved him. George was one of the finest men I've known as attested by his love for his family, his dogs, and his happy place "Oneida Lake".
George was the perfect example of a friend and sportsman. He was my ice fishing mentor, and shared with me his knowledge of the "big O". I will treasure my many memories of George, his laugh and gentle spirit. I will never be on Oneida lake again without remembering my wonderful friend.

George was the quintessential Good Neighbor and he and his canine companions will be missed by all the residents of the Kenwood Rd., Woodlawn Place neighborhood in Marcy. He had a broad smile and a kind word for everyone he met, and his passing will leave us with a huge void.
