Mr. Robert A. Moyer, 80, of New Hartford, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Rome Memorial Hospital Residential Health Care Facility with his loving family by his side.

     Robert was born in Utica, on April 21, 1943, the son of Earl and Mary (Robinson) Moyer and was a graduate of Sauquoit High School. On October 19, 1968, Robert was united in marriage with Rose Ann Cognetti at St. Anthony’s Church in Utica. For many years, Robert was employed with Nichols Department Store in New Harford and later with Special Metals in New Hartford. Robert enjoyed golfing and loved spending time with his family, especially his adored grandchildren who were the light of his life.

     Mr. Moyer is survived by his beloved wife, Rose Ann; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Moyer of MI and Derrick and Andrea Moyer of Cortlandt Manor, NY; four cherished grandchildren, Robert Moyer, Jake Moyer, Olivia Moyer and Alexandra Moyer; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Beverly Ubler of New Hartford and Bonnie and Walter Kogut of Clinton, as well as several nieces, nephews and dear friends. He was predeceased by two brothers, William and Bernard.

     In keeping with Robert’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services.
