Mr. Luis E. Martinez, 62, of Utica, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023, unexpectedly at his home. 

     Luis was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on February 8, 1961 the son of late Enrique and Primativa (Fontanez) Martinez. He was raised and educated in Brooklyn , N.Y.  At one time Luis ran his own tow truck until his health prevented him. 

     Luis is survived by his companion of 20 plus years his beloved Brenda Booth, Sister Blanca Cruz, nieces and nephews, sons Luis Jr. and Daniel Martinez, Brenda’s children Anthony, Ashley, Amber, Lissette, Lucas, Louie and several grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents Enrique and Primativa , brother Juan Martinez, son Jeffrey Martinez and Brenda’s daughter Audrianna Booth. He will be deeply missed and never forgotten by everyone. 

     Visitation for family and friends is Monday, November 6, 2023, from 10AM-12PM at the Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 408 Herkimer Road, Utica, N.Y.  A prayer will follow at 12PM (Noon) with Deacon Richard Prusko. He will be laid to rest near loved ones in Norwich Corners Cemetery Sauquoit, N.Y.
