I remember Joan as an enjoyable and fun co-worker and friend. We worked together at St. Luke's. Just two days ago I found one of my old cookbooks and there was a recipe Joan shared years ago. It brought back many happy times together spent at her house or holiday parties. She was an amazing person. The world lost a great woman!

Cousin Joan always had a kind word and smile on her face! She offered good and loving advice and always ended the conversation with a "God bless" and "I love you!" Joan and Jim's wedding was the first I attended as a young boy! Family was her treasure. She will be sadly missed by all of us that have been touch by her. My only wish is that I could have spent more time with her over the years that have passed way too quickly. Rest in heavenly peace Joan.

I was lucky to spend a good day with great company of Joan and Jenn at the Farmers Market in Cape Coral. Afterwards, we came back to our house to have lunch. It was shortly thereafter, not even a week, that I received a handwritten perfect penmanship "Thank You" card from Joan. I thought about this after; how this card was so considerate and how thoughtful Joan was to take the time and memorize our address!!! We so enjoyed our day with Joan and feel truly blessed to have had a chance to spend a good day with her. We will miss her and our sorry that we did not get to see her as much as we thought we would. Jeff still has a song to play for Joan on the Piano. We will do it together when her loving daughter Jenn returns back to her home in Florida.

Joan was such a wonderful person, I always remember the great meals at holidays and on birthdays , she truly loved her family and friends and will be missed very much , my condolences to the Jen, Jimmy and Jason.
