Obituary of Luis Ricardo Rivera

Luis Ricardo Rivera, 32, passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2023, at his residence.

     Luis was born in Camden, New Jersey on June 1, 1991, the son of Luis Rivera and Jacqueline (Ramos) Mercado.  He was raised mainly in Philadelphia, PA and the last ten years in Utica, where he had a lively personality and positive outlook on life.  He enjoyed joking around and making everyone laugh.  But most of all he loved being a father to his three boys.

     Luis is survived by his three adored sons Luis, Eli Benjamin, Linkoln Rivera, his mother Jacqueline Mercado and her husband Sixto, his father Luis Rivera, sister Rosa Ramos, four brother William and Brandon Perez, Justin and Jacob Mercado and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

     Relatives and friends will gather privately at their convenience for a viewing and funeral service.  Luis will be laid to rest at Magnolia Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.

 

 

Luis Ricardo Rivera, de 32 años, falleció inesperadamente el 11 de diciembre de 2023 en su residencia. Luis nació en Camden, Nueva Jersey el 1 de junio de 1991, hijo de Luis Rivera y Jacqueline (Ramos) Mercado. Se crió principalmente en Filadelfia, Pensilvania y los últimos diez años en Utica, donde tenía una personalidad vivaz y una perspectiva positiva de la vida. Le gustaba bromear y hacer reír a todos. Pero, sobre todo, le encantaba ser padre de sus tres hijos. A Luis le sobreviven sus tres adorados hijos Luis, Eli Benjamin, Linkoln Rivera, su madre Jacqueline Mercado y su esposo Sixto, su padre Luis Rivera, su hermana Rosa Ramos, cuatro hermanos William y Brandon Pérez, Justin y Jacob Mercado y varias tías, tíos, primos y amigos. Los familiares y amigos se reunirán en privado a su conveniencia para un velorio y un servicio funerario. Luis será enterrado en el cementerio de Magnolia, Filadelfia, Pensilvania.
