Nancy Harding posted a condolence

This sad news comes to me only now. Henry was a member of the Roxbury Chamber Players who were in residence with my organization, The Roxbury Arts Group, in the Catskill Mountains, for several summers in the 1980's. He was a kind, gentle and fun presence as well as a fine musician. He loved to make Chinese dinners! Although we corresponded after he returned to Virginia, we eventually lost touch. I'm so glad to read that he remarried and became a father; I can imagine how he enjoyed that role. Godspeed Henry. You were a gift in my life. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

I am learning about Henry's passing very late. Pat and I are sorry to see that he has passed on. We first knew Henry as a violinist in the Catskill Symphony in Oneonta NY. He was well remembered at Ithaca College, where I taught as an adjunct professor, starting after Henry had graduated. Our paths crossed again in the Richmond Symphony, and also in the Roxbury Chamber Players, with whom he played for our first two seasons. He was a kind and gentle soul, and a fine violinist. We're glad to see that he seems to have found happiness in his life after we had lost touch in the 1980s. Rest in peace, friend!

I taught with Henry in the 1980’s at Brentsville District Middle/Senior High School in Nokesville, VA. He, Vince Nola and I were the music faculty together for several years. Henry was a fine musician and teacher and he will be missed.

Dear Kicinski Family, I was shocked and saddened to read of Henry's passing. May he rest in peace. He has certainly earned his place in heaven. Having known him since our youth, I can say without reservation that he was a multi talented, kind, caring, giving, loving, humble, sincere, wise and witty, gentle man. Truly an exemplary human being. Though our encounters in recent years have been sparse, he will be missed. His memory will live on. My heartfelt condolence to his siblings, and to his wife, and the fine children they have raised. May God bless you all as you continue on life's journey, and may Henry's memory inspire you to emulate him.
Sincerely,
Jim Amado

Henry was one of the best men I know. We always had fun sharing the Gospel with others. He had a burden for the Lost. There are too many memories to share here in a few short words. Henry will be missed. Praying for the family. We love you! He always said ... YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! John 3:7

Bro Henry was an inspiration to me after I had gotten saved. He took the word of God and showed me how to use it to win people to Jesus. We had a lot of memorable moments going out witnessing to people. He truly let his light shine so others could see Christ in him! Will truly miss is zeal for the Lord. Evangelist Gary Washington

Henry was a good friend to my ex-husband Jim and me in the early 1990s, when we lived on Niagara St. We always enjoyed him coming to visit and playing the violin and discussions about the Lord. He was patient and kind to our children, so I am sure that he was that way to his own children. See you again one day, Henry....
