Brenda Marie Dodge, 58, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 16, 2023, at her home.

     Brenda was born in Syracuse, on January 13, 1966, the daughter of James L. and Kathy Marie (Hart) Dodge. She was raised and educated in Utica and attended Utica Free Academy. Brenda enjoyed traveling with her family, going to the beach and especially Harpoon Eddie’s at Sylvan Beach and enjoyed gambling on the horse races. She was of the Catholic faith.

     Brenda is survived by her beloved daughter, Rachael Klein and Scott Waters of Whitesboro and Rachael’s father, Rod Klein of Schuyler; her loving companion, Ronald Cleare of Utica; brother, James L. Dodge, Jr. and Dorothy Puleo of Whitesboro; stepbrother, Eddie Loomis of Mohawk; her grandfather, Fred Harmon of Whitesboro; three nieces, Tiffany Dodge, Alyssa Dodge and Danielle Kohlbrenner and one nephew, Cody Dodge. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Kathy and stepbrother, Ronald Loomis.

        In keeping with the wishes of the family, there is no visitation or services planned.
