Obituary of Abdul A. Vohid
Mr. Abdul A. Vohid, 61, of Utica, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Wynn Hospital in Utica.
Abdul was born in Nyack, NY, of January 13, 1963, the son of Abdul H. and Anna (Greber) Vohid. He was raised and educated in Utica, was a graduate of Proctor High School and Mohawk Valley Community College. For many years, Abdul was employed with the Mohawk Valley Water Authority. He enjoyed hunting, working on cars and especially loved spending time with his beloved sons. Abdul was of the Muslim faith.
Abdul is survived by his two sons, Matthew Vohid and Kyle Vohid both of Little Falls and one brother, Abdul M. Vohid and his fiancée, Mary Ellen Reilly of Whitesboro; He was predeceased by his parents, Abdul and Anna.
In keeping with the wishes of the family, there are no services planned.
