Our brother, Richard Allan Bunce, 66 years old, sadly passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2024.

     Richard was born in Utica, on June 22, 1957, the beloved son of the late Vera L. Bunce. He was educated in Utica and attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Rick proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1975-1978, achieving the rank of Corporal. During his time in the Marine Corps, he received the coveted sharpshooter and marksman badges and the good conduct medal. Rick was formerly employed as a postal carrier with the United Sates Postal Service and currently employed with Wilcor International.

      Richard was predeceased by his beloved mother, Vera Bunce and canine family, Cain, Jake and Sheba.

     He is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and John Raspante of Clinton and Michele and Fred Arcuri of Sauquoit; his brother, David Bunce of Ilion as well as several nieces and nephews and his canine buddy, Tucker.

     Rick was honored privately and will be laid to rest in the spring with his beloved mother in Pine Grove Cemetery in Poland NY.
