Mr. Charles W. “Chuck” Antalek, of Utica passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at the Wynn Hospital, Utica.

     Chuck was born in Dover, DE, on March 27, 1963, the son of Charles R. Antalek and the late Maureen Meehan.  He was raised and educated all over the world, being the son of a military family.  Chuck after graduating from high school enlisted serving in the US Army, he was honorably discharged after 13 years of loyal service.  When Chuck left the military he worked for several employers, lastly NCR in Utica, repairing ATM’s and cash registers.  When Chuck was younger, he enjoyed taking his daughters on hikes and exploring the outdoors.

     Charles is survived be his daughter Kayla Antalek, Utica, grandson Elliott, his father Charles R. Antalek, Utica, sister Heather Tucker and her husband Scott, New Hartford, brother Jeffrey Antalek and his wife Susan, Fort Plain, NY and several other nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his mother Maureen and daughter Stephanie Antalek.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Chuck’s funeral service on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 11AM from Heintz Funeral Service, Inc., 408 Herkimer Road, Utica, NY.  All are welcome to attend calling hours prior to the funeral service from 10AM-11AM at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Fort Plain Cemetery, Fort Plain, NY
