Obituary of Charles D. Finley

Mr. Charles D. Finley, 78, of Utica passed away Thursday, June 13, 2024, peacefully in the comfort of home, surrounded by his loving family.

     Chuck was born in Gouverneur, NY on September 19, 1945.  Chuck was raised and educated in Gouverneur and graduated from high school.  Chuck was born into a farm family, that is what he knew and did for his career.  On August 10, 1991, Chuck was united in marriage to Mary Ann Klucznik, a loving and devoted union of nearly 33 years.  Chuck enjoyed watching Western films and loved blasting his country, western music.  He was also an avid CB radio controller.

     Chuck is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, daughter Shelly Finley, stepchildren Debra True and her husband Steven, Billie Shaver and his wife Lisa Marie, Willie Shaver, Art Shaver and his wife Michelle, brother Donnie Finley, numerous grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

     It keeping with Chuck’s wishes, there are no calling hours everything will be private and at the convenience of the family.
