Obituary of Debra A. Mosca

     Miss Debra A. Mosca, 64, of N. Utica, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Wynn Hospital after battling several years of failing health. She faced each day with strength and dignity and is finally at peace.

     Debra was born in Utica, on January 31, 1960, the daughter of Rosalie King and the late Joseph Mosca. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy.  For a number of years, Debra was employed as a teacher’s aide with Upstate Cerebral Palsy. She enjoyed fishing, camping and line dancing, and her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends and especially her beloved grandchildren who were the light of her life. Debra was of the Catholic faith.

     Miss Mosca is survived by her three loving sons, David Bridges of Charlotte, NC, Andrew Mosca of New Hartford and Nicholas Mosca of N. Utica; her mother, Rosalie King of FL; six cherished grandchildren, David, Jr., Carla, Kinslee, Kayomi, Autumn and Josiah; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Joseph Mosca of New Hartford, David Mosca of Utica and John and Fran Mosca of Fl; one niece, Jessica and one nephew, Joshua.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Debra’s celebration of life on Friday, June 21, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica.
