Obituary of Mary Rose Wilson
Mary Rose Wilson, 40, of Rome, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Wynn Hospital with her loving husband and sister by her side.
Mary Rose was born in Utica, on December 21, 1983, the daughter of Anthony Farda and Dawn (Poirier) Beighley. She was raised and educated in Utica and Whitesboro and attended Whitesboro High School. On October 10, 2014, Mary Rose was united in marriage with Todd M. Wilson. Mary Rose enjoyed music, singing, movie trivia and appreciated the beauty of simple things. She will be most remembered as a selfless lady who put the needs of those she loved before herself. Mary Rose had a personality bigger then life. Her infectious smile, love for others, and genuine warmth naturally drew people to her. To know her was to love her. Her adored children were her life. The love she gave them was an absolute inspiration to all who knew her. Mary Rose was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Whitesboro.
Mary Rose is survived by her loving husband, Todd; her adored children, Brooke Wilson, Haleigh Wilson, Steven Burdick and Avery Wilson; her mother and father, Dawn and Joel Beighley of FL; two sisters and one brother, Megan Farda of Carthage, NY, Anthony Farda of Barneveld and Christina Farda of Barneveld; her beloved nieces and nephews, Brian Johnson, Jr., Sophia Robinson, Aleah Deeley, Gia Piperata and Alex Piperata; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Linda Wilson of Rome and two sisters-in-law, Sherry Wilson of Rome and Yvonne Piperata of Utica; She was predeceased by her beloved nephew, Dakotah Wilson, paternal grandparents, Benjamin, Sr. and Mary Farda, maternal grandfather, Donald Poirier and aunt and uncle, Rose and Henry DiSpirito.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Mary Rose’s funeral Mass of Christian Catholic burial on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 16 Park Ave., Whitesboro, NY. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the funeral Mass. She will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Whitesboro.
