Krtistina M. Izzo, 45, of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

     Kristina was born in New Hartford, NY on December 22, 1978, the daughter of Michael L., Jr. and Kathleen M. (Alsheimer) Izzo. She was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Proctor High School. For many years, Kristina was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant with the St. Luke’s Home in New Hartford. Kristina enjoyed music, dancing, cooking, poetry and truly enjoyed doing her own cosmetology. She also had a great sense of humor, always making others laugh and especially loved entertaining for the holiday. She was of the Catholic faith.

     Kristina is survived by her cherished daughters, Alexus Watson and her fiancée, Juan Wright of Utica and Alliyah Scott of Utica; her loving mother, Kathleen M. Izzo and her companion, John Mishlanie of Utica; one sister, Shannon Izzo of Utica and a step-sister, Deena Muller of Ilion, as well as one niece, three nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Michael Izzo, Jr.

     Visitation for family and friends is Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 4:00-5:30 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica followed by a service at 5:30 at the conclusion of visitation.
