Tanya J. Zinke, 58, of Utica, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Wynn Hospital with her loving family by her side.

     Tanya was born in Dunkirk, NY, on December 23, 1965, the daughter of Richard A. and Dorothy Jane (Maynard) Zinke. She was raised and educated in Utica, was a graduate of Utica Free Academy and went on to further her education at Florida College of Medical and Dental Careers. Tanya was employed as a Dental Assistant with Aesthetic Oral Arts in New Hartford.

She enjoyed traveling, the beach and loved to shop. Tanya also was a collector, especially rocks, feathers and seashells. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She was of the Protestant faith.

    Tanya is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Alex Theodore, and cherished grandchildren, Mia Rose and Eleana Jane as well as several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Dorothy Jane Zinke.

     In keeping with Tanya’s wishes, there is no visitation or services.
