Dawn T. Shanley, 58, of Clinton, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, with her loving family by her side.

     Dawn was born in Utica, on April 22, 1966, the daughter of Howard, Sr. and Barbara (Jones) Shanley. She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in N. Utica. For many years, Dawn was employed with the St. Luke’s Home in New Hartford. She enjoyed swimming, camping and was a NY Yankees fan and big fan of country music singer, Lainey Wilson. Dawn was of the Catholic faith.

    Dawn is survived by her beloved daughter, Ashley Shanley and her significant other, Louis Szewczyk as well as many additional loving family members and dear friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her father, Howard Shanley, Sr. and brother Howie Shanley.

     In keeping with Dawn’s wishes, there is no visitation, and a private family service will be held. She will be laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Utica.
