Riha L. Kimball, 24, of Schuyler, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

     Riha was born in New Hartford, on August 16, 2000, the daughter of Georgetta (Kimball) LaSanta and Daniel Hotaling. She was raised and educated in Utica, was a graduate of Proctor High School and earned her phlebotomy certificate from MVCC. Riha enjoyed music, was a talented cook, a gifted singer and she loved to shop. Her sense of humor, contagious smile and larger than life personality naturally drew people to her. She was an extremely caring and giving person, with a heart of gold, who was always the first to help out anyone in need. Riha will most be remembered as a loving mother to her four precious children who were truly the light of her life.

     Riha is survived by her four cherished children, Layleonna, Laveonna, Amera and Deivis’; her loving mother, Georgetta LaSanta and her companion Victor Campos; her loving father, Daniel Hotaling;  her siblings, twin brother, Zachery Kimball and his fiancée Lacey Wright, Brittany Kimball and Sherief Terry, Melissa Kimball, Justin Kimball-Lynch, Michael Kimball and Amaya Matys; maternal grandmother, Delis Kimball; aunts and uncles, Melissa and Jose Melendez, Roxanne Kimball and Donald Cole and her step-father, Jose LaSanta as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends too numerous to mention. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, George Kimball and paternal grandmother, Carol Fuller-Yearby.

     Visitation for family and friends is Friday, September 6, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica, followed by a service to celebrate Riha’s life at 6:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation.
