Obituary of Brian J. Sedgwick

Brian J. Sedgwick, 52, passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. Brian was born in Elbridge, NY on March 17, 1966, a son of James D. Sedgwick and the late Mary Anne (McLaughlin) Sedgwick. He was a graduate of Jordan-Elbridge High School and SUNY Polytechnical Institute. Brian was currently employed as a RAN Engineer with AT&T. Brian enjoyed running and was a marathon runner with Team RWB. In his spare time he also enjoyed playing hockey with the Rink Rats, snowboarding and snowmobiling. The thing that he received the most enjoyment from was spending time at the family camp at Eno Point on Cross Lake. Brian is survived by his two children, Zachary Sedgwick and Alyssa Sedgwick, both of Whitesboro and their mother, Lori Ann Sedgwick, his father, James Sedgwick, of Naples, FL, a sister, Patty Evangelista, of Auburn, NY and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Brian was predeceased by his mother, Mary Anne Sedgwick in 2007. Brian’s memorial calling hours will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 5-8 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. His funeral will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 11:00 at the Church of The Sacred Heart and St. Mary Our Lady of Czestochowa, 201 Main St., New York Mills, NY 13417.
