Obituary of Noemi Soto Rosado

     Noemí Soto Rosado, de 78 años, de Utica, falleció el viernes 30 de agosto de 2024 en el Hospital Wynn, con su amada familia a su lado.

     Noemí nació en Yauco, Puerto Rico, el 7 de abril de 1946, hija de Pablo Soto y Catalina Rosado. Hubo un tiempo en que Noemí trabajaba como una talentosa costurera en Puerto Rico. Le gustaba escuchar música y le encantaba cantar. Como cristiana pentecostal, la fe de Noemí fue primordial en su vida. Será recordada como una madre y abuela amorosa y devota, que fue realmente amada por todos los que la conocieron.

     A Noemí le sobreviven sus tres hijas, Alicia Pérez Soto, Elizabeth Pérez Soto y Jeannette Pérez Soto; su hijo, Roberto Pérez Soto y una hermana, Milagro Soto Rosado, así como 10 queridos nietos y numerosos bisnietos adorados. Fue precedida por una hermana, Miriam Soto Rosado.

     El velorio para familiares y amigos es el miércoles 4 de septiembre de 2024, de 11:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Heintz, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, seguido de un servicio para celebrar la vida de Noemí a la 1:00 p.m. al concluir el velorio. Será enterrada en el cementerio de Forest Hill en Utica.

     Noemi Soto Rosado, 78, of Utica, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2024, at Wynn Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

     Noemi was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, on April 7, 1946, the daughter of Pablo Soto and Catalina Rosado. At one time, Noemi was employed as a talented seamstress in Puerto Rico. She enjoyed listening to music and loved to sing. As a Pentecostal Christian, Noemi’s faith was paramount in her life. She will most be remembered as a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, who was truly loved by all who knew her.

     Noemi is survived by her three daughters, Alicia Perez Soto, Elizabeth Perez Soto and Jeannette Perez Soto; her son, Roberto Perez Soto and one sister, Milagro Soto Rosado, as well as 10 cherished grandchildren and numerous adored great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Miriam Soto Rosado.

     Visitation for family and friends is Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 11:00 am until 1:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica, followed by a service to celebrate Noemi’s life at 1:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery in Utica.
