David and I grew up together as 2 young brothers playing, dressing up, pretending and getting into mischief in Rochester, NY our birthplace. I was 6 and David was 5 when we relocated to Utica and met new friends and in 1964 our sister Dianne was born.. we found it fun to help feed our sister in her high chair. As a young family we went camping, enjoying the outdoors, MYF church group, scouting ,going to the YMCA . We participated in high school sports, and then off to trade school and college. David became a skilled welder and I was a Criminal Justice Major, and I chose the medical field. We participated in Holidays and summer events as we enjoyed watching our children do the same thing that Dave and I did when we were that age. In 1992 David for reasons known only to him decided not to communicate with myself and other family members. His passing was a surprise to me. Dave will be missed as a brother and father and I pray he has found comfort with the Lord. May God Bless him,and his family too. Earl D. Van Scooter

I have not seen David for years but Inhave great memories growing up with him, his sister Diane and his brother Earl, I thought the world of his mom, Lois and Miss her dearly. His dad is a gentleman in every way and I know how much his parents and siblings loved and supported him.. My prayers go out to his family especially his son Ryan, his dad and his brother and sister. Prayers for comfort for all. It is especially hard for a parent to lose a child, so please keep Earl Sr in your prayers.
