Obituary of Nancy M. Rose

    Nancy M. Rose, 76, of Rome, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

    Nancy was born in Utica, on June 1, 1948, the daughter of Joseph and Ann (Marsh) Roemer and was a graduate of Sauquoit High School. For many years, Nancy was employed with St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica. When her daughters were young, Nancy enjoyed taking the girls camping and she especially loved spending time with her beloved family and dear friends. Nancy was of the Catholic faith.

   Nancy is survived by her loving daughters, Tiffany (Shawn) Callery of Chapin, SC and Nicole Rose (Joe) of Buffalo, NY; five cherished grandchildren, Savanah Callery, Marisa Callery, Blake Callery, Maddex Schultz and Zayden Schultz; two sisters, JoAnn Philpotts and Donna Miller as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles Roemer and Daniel Roemer and one sister, Patricia Clicquennoi.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Nancy’s Memorial Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick-St. Anthony Parish Church, 3364 Oneida St., Chadwick’s, NY. She will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Memorial Park, Kirkland, NY.
