We will miss you Dave. So many happy memories of our trips to NY and all the good food and fun at Joe's in Utica and the 2 cruises we took together. The times you came to our home in Virginia. You are a great guy and we had many good times and lots of laughs. It’s very simple, Dave was a really good guy. I remember listening to him sing while he was giving me haircuts… - and his jokes were non-stop ! This world just lost one helluva guy … Prayers for Dave and His Family.

I knew Dave since I was a kid raising hell in The Mills and Dave worked for the village. He always got a kick out of our antics but greeted us with that sly grin. We kept in touch through the years and I wrote about him when he decided to give up truck driving and become a barber. He went from a sit-down job to standing up all day. He was my barber for many years and I always looked forward to those visits. He was particularly gracious and went to the max in raising money for Operation Sunshine, the O-D charity to help children. His clambakes and CDs raised hundreds of dollars through the years. I last saw him at St. Luke’s Home about a month ago, and he wore the same sly grin I remembered as a kid. Rest in peace, my friend. I’ll miss our bantering. The Mills won’t be the same without you.
