Deanna T. Ventura, 82, of Rome, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Rome Memorial Hospital, Rome.

     Deanna was born in Malone, NY, on September28, 1942, the daughter of the late Sherman and Marion G. (Dame) Barcomb.  Deanna was raised in Malone, NY till the age of 12 and then her family moved to Utica.  For many years Deanna was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Auto and Home Division, New Hartford, NY as a customer service representative.  At one time she was a certified teaches assistant special education in the Utica schools.  Deanna was an avid bowler and was a member of the Parkinson’s Club

     Deanna is survived by her children Deidre (Andy) Webb, Anthony (Olivia) Sciortino, Damon Ventura, many grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Sherman and Marion and her siblings Barbara Alsheimer, Margaret Loomis, Lyle, Jeffrey, Ronald and his wife Barbara Barcomb.

     Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to Deanna’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 12PM (noon), from St. Anthony & St. Agnes Church, 422 Tilden Ave, Utica.  She will be laid to rest with her parents and brother in Notre Dame Cemetery, Malone, NY.
